What Shadows Are You Living In?

We witnessed a celestial event. Perfect timing too -- the Total Lunar Eclipse, Blood Moon on World Sleep Day, March 14, 2025!

That made me reflect... Except in total darkness, we are literally always casting shadows whether we know it or not. It's apparent when we are in brighter light, when we can see things more clearly. Or, when somebody or something is there in the path of our shadow. (Like the Moon was to receive the shadow of the Earth earlier this morning). We definitely can't see our shadow if we are skydiving.
This is so metaphorical. When we are awake and during our interactions with others, we might be unknowingly casting shadows in the sense that we might be negatively influencing them. It could be by our tone of voice, our not paying attention to them when they speak, our dismissing their ideas.
Sometimes, it's hard to pinpoint how even something slight might be off-putting to someone. Sometimes, it just could be that another person cannot bear our being in the spotlight and attention not going to them. No fault of ours here. But it could happen. And, they think we are casting the shadow when it's actually them walking into the path of our shadow.
When we are illuminated from above, we cast a minimal shadow. This ties into the fact that when we draw our inspiration and our guidance from Above, from God, our Creator, we somehow don't influence others negatively, and if we do it's very minimally.
When we are illuminated from within, which ultimately comes from God, we truly allow our light to shine through us. Then we illuminate others too.
I see this as having a true vision, mission, and purpose in life. Whatever I do when I am in this state makes me a beautiful candle, allowing others who want to be candles like me, to be lit by the flame I have to offer. Or I could be a bigger beacon, illuminating the way for others, being a source of inspiration.
I may have to be small like a candle sometimes, or big like a beacon. But no matter what, I choose to be lit from within. So, let's see... What in your life could be casting shadows, preventing you from living to your full purpose, or preventing you from enjoying your innate state of vibrant health?
Is it you predominantly relying on fast food instead of preparing healthy, wholesome food?
Is it peer pressure? For example, to indulge in drinking, more drinks than you should? Or to “enjoy the finer things of life” that may be flooded with chemicals that are sabotaging your health?
Is it family and friends who want you to regularly party late into the nights?
Or is it something else?
